Andrew Sankey started the company back in 2000 after serving his apprenticeship in Walsall England, the home of saddlery and leather industry

Andrew moved to Scotland at the age of 27 after meeting his wife and started Sankey Saddles and he has never looked back.

Now exporting all over the world he is well known for quality rather than quantity

“We don’t make a standard range of saddles. Instead we offer our customers a bespoke service to suit their requirements.

We still wet block our seats the traditional way we feel that it is a very important part of making the finest quality and durable seat.

Sometimes the old ways are the best.”

Sankey Saddles are still made on a traditional wooden tree using only the finest quality leathers.
